i thought this was a very refreshing take on the handi-cam genre. yea it takes awhile to get to the point but the bickering between couples is great. which of them ARE YOU? is the question. i like to drink and have a good time so i guess that settles that.

Of all of the "found footage" films that I've ever seen (and I've seen TONS!), I found this to be very good. The "twist" at the end was great. Of course, don't expect the couples to be geniuses, but, if you look for it, the whole Michael Rockefeller thing IS addressed in the movie. (I can't say much more without posting a spoiler). The camera was well controlled so I didn't getting nauseous, the actors weren't too bad, and the gore was very nice. I'm giving this one a strong 6 out of 9 lives and placing it in my "Awesome Sauce" playlist because it's so hard to find such a decent found footage cannibal movie out there. HOWEVER, this is only my opinionation, which is why I wish to encourage others to watch this film for themselves because they may think differently. MEOW!!!

Really underrated pov film, its slow but it gets pretty scary and realistic, just think, what if this happened to you? that would be terrifying. and the original name was Cannibals but dimension extreme changed it, and this is basically a loose remake of cannibal holocaust,and its damn effective if you ask me.7/10

I actually liked this, when it's not usually my style of film. Was glad when the American was killed, can't believe he would last that long.

"Welcome to the Jungle" has nothing to do with the Guns N' Roses song of the same name, but it owes a lot to "The Blair Witch Project." Too bad it has none of the latter's suspense or creativity. The plot, such as it is, involves two young couples armed with video cameras who set off into the New Guinea jungle to find Michael Rockefeller, heir to the wealthy family, who disappeared on an expedition there in 1961. Reports are that Rockefeller encountered cannibals, and there's no need to post a spoiler here because the developments of this film are pretty obvious from the start. Unfortunately, before those developments actually develop, we are subject to an hour of improvised whining while the four adventurers wander the jungle, oblivious to the danger that the viewer knows awaits them. The acting is average, the dialogue is banal, and the hand-held camera is a chore to endure. The film lacks scenes of torture

my brother rented it at blockbuster and it was in english. Weird movie really.

Good, it takes a little while to get going, but the dialogue is funny. Alot like the BWP, but in the jungle. 3/5

Well, let me just save you a lot of time by just telling you that if you fast forward to 57 minutes in, that's when it gets interesting. But the movie is only like 80 minutes long, so you do the math. 2/5

Wow...and here I thought that Michael Rockefeller would be hard to find after all these years. Apparently all you have to do is ask one guy who says he knows another guy, travel down a river a bit and voila! Don't bother with this movie, I beg you. You will NEVER get those 83 minutes of your life back. Turn back now while you still can!!

Two stars ** Seen this a while ago and remember it being just ok, shame... because the story had some potential (for a horror/thriller). Watch 'Paradise Lost' or 'The Perfect Getaway' they're much better than this.

bit like Cannibal Holocaust, with less focus on the cannibals, more focus on the people who go in like idiots and are the people we all know never to travel with. Hand held camera, although not bad in this situation, and leaves some questions to be answered. The plot as listed in the descrip, falls very short and is abandoned quickly, so if you are looking for it to be about M.C Rockefeller , this isn't it. I would, although this isn't really too bad, suggest Cannibal Holocaust instead.... this feels like a modern remake of the later Cannibal Ferox. Well worth a watch if this is your style, but if you are new to the genre, I recommend the original Cannibal Holocaust. Happy movie watching either way, this has pro's and con's, it's up to you.

LOVE this film... got it on DVD and watched it several times! Give it a watch, don't bypass it coz you think these kind of films are lame...

Filmed in the same style as the blair witch project,i wouldn't call this a horror movie,more of a what not to do when your in the jungle documentary,5/10.

that was alright. 2 of them were a pain in the ass.
