Watch The House That Would Not Die: This movie centers on Ruth Bennett and her niece Sara Dunning. They move into the house of Ruth's recently deceased aunt and shortly thereafter they learn the house is possessed by two ghosts of the original owners who were from the time of the Revolutionary War. Shortly after arriving Ruth discovers a family Bible hidden in a secret compartment of a roll top desk. Contained within is the name of the original owner which includes the name of his deceased wife and also a name that has been crossed out in ink. As the movie progresses we learn the identity of this person and the reason for it being obliterated through the possession of niece Sara and Pat McDougal. |

Just a heads up the cover art seen here is not to the movie that's posted here. This cover art is from the 1977 film "Hausu" AKA 'House' directed by Nobuhiko Ohbayashi. Hopefully somebody can correct this. Here is the url to the the 1977 film, http://www.1channel.ch/watch-351399-House

8/10 Film of classic ghost story "Ammie, Come Home". I thought it good, particularly if you like the early 60's "ghost/possession" story. This is an early Aaron Spelling "Movie of the Week" (70's?). The Barbara Michaels book is fantastic if you can find it.
