I have played and loved all the Dooms. Whilst i am aware that the resources to create a true Doom film would be too expensive, i liked this film. They had to make a sacrifice due to funding. Its one of the few game to films that reamins partially faithfull. I personelly think it was not that bad and could of been a lot worse. 3.5/5

This movie is truely awesome

Best part about this movie is near the end where it goes FPS! Awesome! Altogether not a bad action film.

I was pleasantly suprised. I avoided this one for a long time, I loved the game and the movie did not dissapoint

If you enjoyed the game back in the day, you'll like the movie just as much. As close to the game as you can get. It would of had that extra kick if Goat's name was Wolf instead... (they had Duke (Nukem) and Reaper (Doom)) Makes Wolf (Wolfinstien) fell kind of left out, don't it?

Great acting from The Rock like always. Kind of sucks that they never did a Part 2 explaining how the whole thing happend.. since this movie didn't get that detailed about it. All in all: 4/5 at least for me.

nice video. was fun and action packed but, like Absolution said, "seems to have very little at all to do with the actual video game". i liked the video game better. it had more scares and a better premise, but you'll enjoy it nonetheless. 7/10 because it is what it is. a movie based on a video game, with actual FPS moment at the end. yes!

This movie is based on a 1993 science fiction horror-themed first-person shooter video game by id Software which had eventually become the number one cause of decreased productivity in businesses around the world... Watching this film was a pleasant and fun experience. It felt like I was re-living the horrors of DOOM which I was introduced to as a teenager 20 years ago. Loved it!

The plot of this movie, oddly enough, seems to have very little at all to do with the actual video game. They try to make a lot of connections, but the fundamental premise of this movie and the video game are completely different. But forgetting the video game, the movie is worth a watch, as the special effects are good, the acting is ok, and the plot is average. 3/5

the rock looked really good in this sci fi horror thriller. good special effects and worth watching for sci fi fans.

just overall amazing! i love it. it had humor, action, blood, gore, twists, good acting, and story!

This movie gets a really bad reputation, but its one of the few films that's based on a video game that's actually half decent. Not amazing, but very entertaining.

loved the game and love mr rock....so of course i have to watch this now.....okay, so i watched it....it was pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary but id watch it again sometime.

would rather play the games, doom 3 was scarier than this lol. The possessed did look pretty baddass though

I myself and a gamer, but I'm also a movie lover :). It's pretty traditional for me to watch this at least once a year (although I don't know why...), and it never lets me down. Good Cast, fair acting, and neat effects. Overall, I'd rate this movie a decent 6.5/10. Definitely worth a 1 time watch (or if your like me), at least once a year type-o-deal. :)

Great movie to watch, liked everything about this. The story, action, cast were all great. added to my favs and playlist. Pissed myself laughing when the lady says what like an alien? and the guy screams at her LOOK AT THAT THING lol
