Classic kung-fu era movie. Shogun Assassin is actually an American chop and edit of the first two Lone Wolf and Cub movies. I loved this one growing up, but now I prefer the first two Lone Wolf movies individually. Regardless, if your a fan of the genre, this one is a must watch if you dont want to deal with subs.

Classic movie, I loved it when I saw it the first time and its definitely one to watch over and over again! This movie is the reason why I fell in love with martial art films! 10/10

if they ever made an american remake of this film ,. i would probably fuckin freak , i would hope wu-tang would be bustin into some offices gats blazin , but i really really wish they wouuld make another movie ! 30 years later ! .. that would be ridiculous ,. but still ,. awsome !, n oh yah ,. obvi 5/5 , n everyone should watch '13 assasins' if they have not .

this is the movie made me fall in love with samurai movies all seven parts are master pieces. a must see if you loved lone wolf and cub series this is the last movie here is the info on this and other lone wolf films enjoy it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lone_Wolf_and_Cub

I love this film. keep in mind its was done in like the 70s so the special effect are cheesy and so are the background music. but the story are cool. i love ventage pulp fiction from japan!

great movie even if the special effects were a little over the top.the story line was brilliant. it was creative to have the child tell the story.. I rate this movie 4.5 out of 5.

This is the greatest samurai movie of all time. No English subtitles here. Good narration, great action scenes with squirting blood.

If you liked it, watch the original movies and more importantly read the original manga "Lone Wolf and Cub". Ogami Itto walks the way of demons and shall have his vengeance!
