I don't know why this movie doesn't have 5 stars. This is one of the defining movies of my generation, as well as my all-time favorite. It will be tough for anything to top this one. The cast is great, the dialogue is great, the music is fantastic, the plot is amazing. Many movies have borrowed from this one, but none of them have topped it. Best movie of my youth. 10/10 for sure.

i loved the trilogy and this one is still awesome to watch. The fighting scenes were well done and the storyline was so unique.Keanu Reeves did a great job along with Lawrence Fishbourne! 10/10

Everyone loves The Matrix, you get the ignorant few that 'dont get it' but really its been 10 years and this film is still one of the best. What frustrates me is reaction to the sequals. Did you just expect them to go on a mission to free minds? See who can get the highest jump?? The makers had to complete the story correctly. If they just went down the road of high budget all action then it would have been another Terminator, messed up story, lost its way and just make films for sake of making them. For this, I am truly happy that the creators stuck by their morals and for once finished a story, to most less-educted peoples dislike. 11/10!

The best movie trilogy ever I have to give to The God Fathers series but, this one is up there as well. Niether one of the other matrix made it too my favorites list but, this one was a true classic and , it is one of my favorites. 5/5 stars

have you considered checking your health? maybe you have narcolepsy?...you know funny thing is... They speak about ppl like you in the movie...sleeping their entire lives, never using their "eyes" for real, not seeing things for what they really are.The reality. And when they do start to see, it's so overwhelming that it hurts, you are not used to "see" with your heart's eyes. Maybe you should have another try, put the coffee pot on the stove and some jolt cola next to you lol
