good episode n with only 2 episodes left of the season it looks like its leading up to a great season finale,(i hope)...

i didnt think alphas got a 2nd season,glad to see it back on n all the same characters in it,loved the first season :) ....

That ending was unacceptable, i really hope they come back for another season

I don't understand how some avarage at best shows get renewed season after season but so many good shows like Alphas just get cancelled all over the place. Is it because people just don't wanna think anymore? The acting is fabulous, the story is interesting, the effects are awesome, it's thrilling, what the hell more do you need for a good show? Really really sad to see this one go. I had hoped, especially because I knew quite a lot of people who loved to watch it, that it would continue. And at least get a frigging good end that makes sense of all of it. I hate it when they just up and go and leave you with loose ends. u_u

i have an image that the creators of this 'ALPHAS' are getting confused, or blocked. more and more often there are moments of put a 'blame' on the 'good guys' characters they created, of course that is the easiest way to create new conflicts. but it's not easy to see characters that coming to us as nice people, creative, very smart, and strong.. all of sudden turn to somebody lame, irrational, and weak in the next episode (?) it was not bad , until end of 1st season... then, hmm (?)

The show you're thinking of Draxx is the BBC show "Misfits" BUT there was a show that came out in the mid-80's I think, called "Misfits of Science" that was most likely what the OP was talking about, still all solid shows.

It actually seems pretty good. Not a heroes ripoff (at least not from the pilot). The plot seems to be solid. You didn't get much a chance to really see into the characters, but the glimpses that you did get showed some depth. Rather than Heroes, I'd probably compare this to something like NCIS meets "No Ordinary Family", but without the Disney kid gloves if you know what I mean; much more realistic.

Every syndicate keeps cancelling the good shows so they can bring out more reality tv shows. Sci-fi channel is jumping more on the bandwagon. The problem is, these reality shows are getting more play because tv ratings don't count online viewing, only cable and satellite. It's cheaper to walk around with cameras and record the idiocies of people than actually create new shows that require the audience to think. That's why our society has become dumber in the past decade or two. Well, that and the advance in portable electronics. I had really hoped this show would have made it to season 3. But alas, no such luck.
