Very well done with great performances from the cast. I would definitely reccomend especially to those like myself who enjoy films based on true events. 8/10

Excellent movie, excellent story and performances. The way this was filmed, I had to remind myself that this is based on a true story.

I really loved this movie! Probably because it reminded me a lot of my own youth. It depicted, very well, how over-dramatic we can be when we are young. And the trouble it can cause when we can't think on the level..

The story was interesting. I was constantly waiting to see how far both of these girls' fantasies were going to go. It reminds me when young people like these seem to be living in a fantasy world more than reality, it is usually a red flag to the parents that there most likely is a psychological problem occurring with their kid. The acting was good. I give it 8 out of 10 stars.

Fascinating and true story. Interesting how, in the end, the girls fates seemed to rest on their social standing which was actually, what I believe, started or added force to the girl's fascination with each other in the first place. Worth several watches to pick up nuances in character portrayals.

Good to see Jackson's earlier efforts as a director. The movie has had good reviews but I can't seem to get what all the fuss is about. It has decent acting, breathtaking locations and good period details but what was missing is a cohesive story. There are parts which would remind viewers of "The Lovely Bones" and I think Jackson began his self-indulgence with this entry.

This is a beautiful coming of age movie, the girls take it too far. Seeing as, it is a true story, I don't know how they can do something like that. Great scenery, plot, this movie has everything and the fact that its based on a true story makes it more interesting. 4/5 Stars
