Watch Anne of Avonlea: Anne Shirley, now a schoolteacher, has begun writing stories and collecting rejection slips. She makes the acquaintance of a handsome, rich, bachelor, chases a cow, and wins (to her chagrin) a baking soda company's writing contest. She acts as Diana's maid of honor, and refuses Gilbert Blythe's marriage proposal; which sends her to teach Kingsport Ladies' College, an exclusive girls school, where she meets opposition from one of the teachers, Miss Brooke, and the Pringle clan (one of whom is the rich, handsome bachelor). But while Anne enjoys the battle, and the friends she makes, she returns to Avonlea. |

amazing movie. anne of green gables collection they have been really gd to read and watch over my child hood.and it meant alot to my gran too she used to listen to the recordings as she was blind. overall i give this 9/10

This movie has always had the most endearing qualities to it-Loved it since childhood. Somehow it is both soothing and mesmerizing to watch, and if you are a fan of the books, it's even more inspiring. I wish they still made films like this- it is simply lovely

This is one of the Best movies i have ever seen,,,,But the 1st one of this 3 part series is not here, and the 1st one is the best of the 3...Fantastic movie so heartwarming and funny............................perfect 5/5

There are 3 Green Gables stories: 1) Green Gables 2) Green Gables: The Sequel 3) Green Gables: The Continuing Story. I'd love to see all three on this site.

i love this series! i like the first better than this one, as far as the plot points in her life, but i still love this part too
