Classic. The remake is OK but they tried too hard. The calls are creepy and the unknown assailant makes one wonder if he's just some nut or is it possily paranormal.

Classic! In my top five favourites of all time, it truly paved the way for other classics, and to me, the "caller" was the most creepiest of all callers in the slasher film genre. 10/10 of course :) Loved the scene in the police station as well with the phone number!

Contrary to my belief, this was indeed a good movie. Good gore fest. no beating around the bush . Fast and eventful movie . Definitely worth a watch .. 7.5/10

THIS...IS...One of my all time Favorites! ONE of the most Creepiest Movies around!!! ever! Now this..is a Horror Movie! In all aspects! (The re-make wasn't nearly as AWESOME!) :D

Considered to be the first "slasher" movie, this was one of the first movies that really scared the crap out of me! You can see the birth of many of the cliches that are now pretty standard in lots of movies and they were STILL better than they are now! The movie still holds it's own even today! Well cast and written, the movie is easily one of the best slasher flicks of all time!

"If this movie doesn't make you skin crawl, it's on too tight." This was before Halloween, this was before Friday The 13th and this was the first where you saw from the killers point of view without ever knowing who he was or why he was doing this. It's a mystery and that's the reason you can watch this again and again. 3/5.

Atmospheric and frightening. If it seems somewhat derivative today, try to remember that it came BEFORE "Halloween" and "When A Stranger Calls".

Great flick. I remember watching this one many,many moons ago. It hasn't lost it's edge at all.Good acting all around . Best characters were "Lois Lane" and that old chick. 4/5 Even though it will suck ass, I'll try the remake sometime.

It was an ok film,camera work was top notch,so was the acting,the 70s & 80s rocked as far as Horror in movies goes,today kids call movies like * Hostle * Horror,they aren't Horror,their slicing and dicing flicks that dont cost a hole Lotta money to make,,,,a good horror has to make ya jump,and keep ya guessing all the way threw,,,this was a good thriller for its time,so on a scale from 1-10 I rate this * caller Horror * a 7 1/2,,,good if your board,just dont expect a hole lot..
