The ending was too abrupt, but the story wasn't bad! And the props were probably ahead of the movie's time. I felt sorry for the poor creature though. :( 3/5

After almost 60 yrs,still agood flick- thou the woman have come a long way from those days-- Now a days, shit they wouldmfirst mace him then kick the shit out of the creature, rather then laying their covering their face partly with their hands and screaming

Absolutely great B&W horror movie. The 'Creature from the Black Lagoon' is one of the original 'five' monsters of the early screen. (Frankenstein, Dracula, The Invisible Man, and The Mummy are the other four) Saturday morning was nothing without one of these five showing up on TV. Great times!
