I watched most of this film and find it is for those who enjoy drama and politics. The cast is great and the story is very good as it is well told in this content...

Its taking me almost a year to watch this movie since it came out because the first 20 mimutes are very slow and didn't keep me interested. I finally watched the whole movie today and I'm displeased that I waited this long. This movie was very well written, with great acting and an awesome cast. I could definitely watch it again.

A very dull, very slooooow, boring film zzzzz!!! But yet I still sat through it, admittedly I was watching the rain outside for most of it..bleaghh!!

A little slow but a really good storyline.

Excellent film. Great performances from Gosling and Clooney. I'm not a big fan of the political genre, but this film showed the behind the scenes wheeling and dealing which goes on. Made me ask the question at the very end "Did he or didn't he?" What do you think? 9/10

Loved Ryan and George in this movie. It showed how the clean persona of a politician is only media perspective and not the true reality of a campaign. It makes you wonder about our former presidents who we trusted completely... 8/10 stars. Definitely worth your time.

good film about behind the scenes of candidates for election

This was a good movie. I think Clooney is one of the best actors out there right now. He's very believable. I also like Giamatti as an actor, not too mention Hoffman and Gosling. Well worth watching.

little slow at the beginning, give it time and it turns out to be a great movie with a great cast. I liked the way it ended, it let you know what was going to happen without telling you.

This was an extremely well done film, though a little predictable and cliche in some ways (then, again, when it came to some of the twists, I didn't see them coming). Overall, I liked the espionage thriller sort of feel it had in places, and I especially like the cast. I was really looking forward to it and wasn't disappointed. Seems like most anything Clooney does--barring "Men Who Stare at Goats"--is gold. Well done. 8.5/10.
