this is one of the greatest movies ever made. it's so literary and sad and beautiful and thought provoking. if i could only watch one movie for the rest of my life, it would have to be legends of the fall. it's been at the top of my list since i was a kid (not that it is a movie for kids, voilence-wize). but give it a chance because it's really beautiful if you can appreciate all the details. and it has a lot of good quotes too

i cried for 2 reasons, 1, i wish a woman still lokked upon me like that, 2, tristan after the first time he left and came back never looked happier then when he seen his brother!!

Nice log cabin. Everybody's waiting for Brad Pitt to show up. They must have had some great shampoo and conditioner back then, all the hair looks great!

A very good family story that stretches across years and shows how love can change people. I liked Brad Pitt and Julia Ormond in this movie, they played their roles well.

It was durning world war 1, pretty sure they had decent hygene.

It is in 5 my top 5 all time fav list. I was so moved by this film that I cant explain. Just the way they lose everything and then brad and his brother and hopkins take on those gunman was so amazing. It made me cry a lot.
