Watch Chinese Coffee: When Harry Levine, an aging, unsuccessful Greenwich Village writer is fired from his job as restaurant doorman, he calls on friend and mentor Jake, ostensibly to collect a long-standing debt. Harry solicits his opinion on his latest manuscript, a work of semi-fiction based on their longtime friendship. Although he initially denies having read it, Jake later attacks it on aesthetic grounds, and deep-seated feelings of betrayal and jealousy surface and lead to a traumatic confrontation.

This was a strange little film. for the most part, it was good, but there were some flaws in both the dialogue of the two main characters and in the story line. 6/10

This was a strange little film. For the most part, I liked it. However, there were some flaws in the speech of the two main characters and the plot that made it less interesting. 6/10

I love to see Al out of the box. A methodical actor that has many a face. I appreciate him and his ability to command the stage and screen.

Deep and meaningful dialogue. Pacino and Orbach are both thoroughly convincing. For intelligent people only, no action.

I just love it when Al Pacino shouts in anger!:L I have not seen this anywhere for purchase:/ It was a nice movie, it's a lot like The Sunset Limited even though this was made first:) 6.4/10 Jerry Orbach's character was a total bell end! I think his character was very annoying and such a downer! He kind of pissed me off throughout the film and I was not a big fan of the flashbacks during the film. Pacino does have some funny lines and scenes:D
