Watch Splendor in the Grass: It's 1928 in oil rich southeast Kansas. High school seniors Bud Stamper and Deanie Loomis are in love with each other. Such a beautifully sad, powerful film. It is one of my favorite older movies, besides the three James Dean films, and Alfred Hitchcocks !!
