Interesting and surreal, but not nearly as engaging as other masterpieces of Wes Anderson...

This was quite silly. I still enjoyed it though.

One of my favorite movies of all time. Love bill murray in this dark comedy ode to jacque cousteau. They had it all down to the red hat and blue outfits. Saw this when i worked for as a projectionist the first day it came out and i love it to this day. I am also a wes anderson fan so if you like this one you may want to check out his other work.

I found this movie here when looking for a movie with Cate Blanchett,and I am so happy I did.It was so fun to watch,Funny,Sad, and even charming!I think this may be my favorite character of Bill Murray's,because he was so nice and humble, he made you really want him to find that shark he was looking for.And just plain win! This what you may call a touching comedy for sure. Some may think its not as good as other stuff Murray has done, but I liked the fact it was different from what he has done before, it shows and actors worth when they can do other things, play other types of characters.The only part that bothered me about the movie at all, was the black guy singing in Portuguese.I mean I know everyone doesn't speak English and shouldn't have to, but I don't speak anything except English so I found it annoying. But I still gave the movie 5 stars out of 5, it didn't bother me enough,lol!I even knew some of the songs, some were David Bowie songs.I just wonder one thing, whether Cate was really pregnant in this, she looked it,lol! Probably not,lol!

Unbelievably superb movie. So much detail and so many beautiful visuals. Superbe acting, it amazed me! Note: this is not for the masses, not for the person looking for a standard comedy, this is for people with a finer taste.

Full of dry humor that is so stupid that it's actually funny. Great cast. Mmmmmm Cate Blanchett. 6/10

Absolutely love this movie, one of my favourites. If you like Wes Anderson's stuff, you'll love this. Recommend it to anyone whose in for a very unique movie with a different type of comedic aspect that you'll love.

i just simply loved it, very nice, never knowing if its all real. just enjoy the movie was made and the incredble cast doing a nice light hearted movie thats just enjoyable to watch. 8/10
