i cried with laughter at the kissing scene. such a funny movie

Good movie! 10/10 for subject, acting, music and also being very well written. Thanks to those on the forum or I would have never heard of it or seen it. I'd watch it again.

I watched this with my lil girls and we LOVED IT! AWESOME music, Lisa Kudrow did great and looks beautiful! Great family movie and they saved the best for last! AWESOME CHAMEO! 5/5

i thought this movie would be kind of good but it proved to be a waste of time. good for kids who like disney channel because a lot of the characters will be familiar but for teens; not a good movie.

Just finished watching this on Stars Network for the first time, there are very few movies that get my attention; this is one of those movies. The acting was great the music awesome 5/5

Todd Graff did an incredible job with this film. Good cast and great chemistry and when they did their first tune in the garage, it was off the hook, especially with the horn section. Every once in a while a film comes along that is more important to youth than they know at the time like "Pump Up The Volume" or "Scott Pilgrim vs The World" and this is one of those important films and Alyson and Vanessa were definitely not hard to look at either. 9/10

I love movies like this! "the struggling high school band" movie. great story, and acting. great songs. i thought it would be a disney type film when i saw v. huggens, but even she did a good job acting wise, she held her own (not so much vocally becuz the blond chick blew her out the water but...) i think if you ever dreamed about being in a band or starting your own band or if you like shows like "glee" you will like this! 7.5/10
