I didn't think that I would enjoy this movie at all either but honestly it is a good movie and no there is not way it is as good as or better then the first one but it was a good remake.

Well it was nothing like the original and for a minute they had me worried of it being a spoiler to a epic classic but i think they did a pretty good job. The dancing modern and fresh and it had its funny and cutsie parts 8.5/10

any one who knows me, can tell you how upset i was when i heard about the remake...it took a lot for me to watch it. in the end though, surprisingly i enjoyed it. it honestly is one of the best remakes i have seen in a loooooong time. it's footloose but with a modern twist, there are some scenes/lines that got cut out or changed that should of stayed, but it worked out in the end. the remake wont top the original but it's still worth watching.

I expected to hate this movie because I don't like how Hollywood is remaking amazing classic movies.I mean they shouldn't fix something that's not broken, just make new original movies. Surprisingly, I really love this movie! It can't compare to the first Footloose, but I still enjoyed it.

Not bad. Obviously not as great as the original but it was a pretty good movie on its own. Juliane Hough was a better actress than anticipated and the part where Willard was learning to dance was the best as usual. Watch this if you liked the original but lower your expectations. 7/10

i thought this was an excellent remake.. although the first one was amazing this one has a great cast and amazing dancers.. 7/10
