Love this movie! Love story between battles for the throne. reason,faith, loyalty all in one. Not to close to the Opera version but the story line was very much alike the legend. Beautiful movie. Box of tissues recommended. I cried almost the whole movie. 10/10

I enjoyed this movie so much and I really appreciated how the Director decided to portray the King. instead of making one person a villian who deserved treachery or the adulterer to be a Casanova cad, he told a real story of real human experience.No villians, just humans who are experiencing natural feelings, friendships that are tested, hearts are broken...and by people who really didn't intend to hurt each other. There are several versions of this story, one being that the King forgives Isolde, so portraying a husband who truly loved his wife and had his heart broken was not far fetched.

When is it ever going to end?? A story about true love always ending tragically. This love story started in deceit, so how else could it possibly end, if not tragically. I enjoyed it's drama. True love doesn't consist of lies. For instance, Romeo & Juliet.

I love this movie. Its so sad and moving. I love the history of the legend. The original Gwenivere and Lancelot. The origins of the name Tristan which means sad or sorrowful in about a half dozen languages. Because when she thought of him she was sad or sorrowful. Its such a beautiful story of life consuming love between people who could never truly be together.

this is a really beautiful movie, and I loved every minute of it. It was directed perfectly, the scenes flowed perfectly. The actors selected for their charecters were spot on - Franco played his part just right, you could see the torture he felt. I am sure to watch this several times again. If you like the Arthurian period I would imagine that you will love this movie. 9/10

Not too bad, I'm not a big romance fan, i dont like the cliche crap, where they meet, like eachother, fight, makeup, and fall in love.. blah blah no offense anyone though!However I can appreciate a good love story, when its intertwined with a good story plot.. well this movie, i thought was OKAY.. it had a good suspense and some really good fight scenes.. and the love story was pretty decent and not TOO predictable, i defiantly think its worth watching at least once.. the acting was good and james franco looked veryyyy good in this movie, it was a little slow during the middle but the beginning and ending was not disappointing.. so if your like me and not too big on romances.. you should know i thought this was alright.. and good story in itself. =] 6/10 -Jen

....classic love story with a taste of dark ages,stories of Ireland and early England I didn't know,good battle scenes...but Franco with his California accent was stretching it a bit...still 3/5.
