A one watch movie, predictable script and weak acting contribute to a poor film, 4/10.

Im not really an action movie type of person actually I avoid those movies all the time (im into romance,I know I'm a typical girl)but I seen Channing Tatum on the cover in Theaters So I decide to watch it without even knowing what it was about & I LOVED it. I was surprised at how much I loved it regardless of the fact there was NO Romance involved (isnt that crazy) but seriously the courage & honor he had :)......On top of how sexy he is OMG ...this is a must see :) Ive had my brothers & etc..guys I know watch this movie cuz this was one of the very few actions i like

Genres: Cheesy Only watch it if u cant find anything else u Want to watch. Its mostly action based which there isnt much of. The rest was about this guy trying to prove him and his family are MAchO Machooo Men Its fun to stay at theee YMCA Look at those two in the End smiling and laughing to each other. Tis is pretty good. I had very low expectation b4 watching it bt it was nice 2 watch. Nothing special or amazing bt it has very good cinematography n locations n the end was good.Sm scenes were a little dull n slow. Worth watching.

Really great movie. Not too historically accurate, but enough to be credible. Some goofs are too stupid, like a modern day boot with a big rubber sole or engaging the enemy in a testudo formation. Some other details were nicely portrayed, such as the slight cut on the jaw usually caused by the helm's cheek plate. Some people criticized the language issue, but I really didn't give a damn about the "american" accent of the romans. If they're not speaking classic vulgar latin, then every other accent of every language can be deemed innacurate therefore wrong. But I point out another intriguing language mistake: Esca is from Southern Britania, so he should speak brythonic in the south, and be able to communicate with the northern tribes. But in the movie, he clearly speaks gaelic, which he couldn't have learned back then because the language practically didn't exist there. Great film nonetheless, and totally recommended, has a nice story and it keeps you watching till the end.
