Very good movie. The singing was really good, so was the acting. It was really entertaining. The story was wonderful. This is definetly worth seeing.

The music in this is wonderful. There's really no comparison between this and Moulin Rouge. All the actors did actually sing, no voice-overs, which in my opinion is impressive.

nuh uh mr greed one girl sang about killing a guy over gum, the others had their own stories... and as for the lawyer singing about not caring bout money and then showing its pretty much all he cares about, well, he's a man, men always contradict themselves.... i love this musical and never tire of seeing it 10/10

Loved it!! Zeta-Jones steals every scene she's in, she deservedly won for best supporting actress. 9.5/10

A very flashy musical. This is a great depiction of Chicago in the 1920's. This is the way things were in a sense. I enjoy this film every time and would recommend it to any music lover/Chicago dweller. 10/10 one of my favorites

God Catherine Zeta-Jones can sing and dance! She looks a bit too buff to be a 20s flapper, but she's totally stunning anyway. And Renee is very cute but Catherine sort of overshadows her. I know I shouldn't but I wish I was one of those Jailhouse girls... *drool*

What an amazingly triumphant film! Musicals are not my thing but this is hands down an instant classic. Haven't seen it? Watch this, I assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Superb movie, all performances are top notch for singing, dancing and acting. Great settings, costumes and script. Highly deserved oscar noms and wins, an absolute great watch, 9/10

Honestly don't know why I waited so long to see this! If you like musicals then you'll love this. Fast paced, there's never time to get bored and the cast is excellent. Even if you're not bothered about the deeper meaning, it's just a good watch with great songs. 9 outa 10 :)

Tremendously entertaining, one great musical number after another, and I am not a fan of musicals but love this movie. Renee Zellweger shines, and Catherine Zeta-Jones almost jumps off the screen with exuberant intensity. This is a movie that can be watched and enjoyed over and over.
