Great singing. The acting was very good. I have been wanting to watch this for a while, I am glad I finally got around to watching it. Worth watching.

I think Bee did an excellent job portraying Etta James. She sang sometimes even better than her. Etta James is so troubled. I think she felt negative feelings for Bee after she sung "At Last" at the Inauguration Performance of 2008. Too bad, because she knocked it outta the ballpark!

if you are into blues in anyway, you should definetely watch this inspiring movie. I have been playing blues over 10years and i can definetely say that it's sth u cant give up once you begin. "Still got the blues" :D

Version #2 is the one to watch. I LOVE quality biopics/true stories like this! Beyonce gave a very credible performance of Etta James (it's kinda funny that Etta James is mad/jealous of Beyonce; see youtube) My favourite actor though was Mos Def as Chuck Berry; he was da bomb!

1 word: INTENSE! SUCH an amazing movie w/ a soundtrack to KILL for and one of the best casts Ive ever seen. I'm talking about music that if you really hear it, can literally take your breath away. I dont care who you are, if you like music in any form, this is a movie about it's roots. From Muddy Waters n Etta James to the Rolling Stones, it's in here. I'm going on iTunes right now to search for this soundtrack and buy it. And I dont pay for music so that's saying alot. 5/5, 10/10 Def worth watching whether you have time or not, MAKE time, it's that good. I'm in love w/ good music though so I may be a little partial, I'll admit, but in my opinion it doesnt get much better than this. WATCH THIS MOVIE.

What can I say about Cadillac Records? In one word Brilliant! I have a great love for blues, soul and jazz, so for me this film was driving right up my street. Whilst I lived in London I had the privileged to meet many of the greats like Etta James, Miles Davis and even Chuck Berry.. (I had a boyfriend at the time, that worked for the London Times, covering the music section) It's a period of my life that now as a 41 year old mum, holds great memories for me. So this film for me, brought back memories with a few of the tracks covered. It was well written, and the acting well performed. A new favourite for me.

I just loved it!! I was dragged up on the blues and Etta James and the such so it's a mahoosive thumbs up from me!!! I'd highly recommend it!! Just loved it!!! :)

Don't trust the rating there is no way this movie is only two stars. Awesome film. Great music. Just all around good flick.

I really love Etta James music I grew up listing to oldies She will and always will be a great impact in my life. though I didn't care to much of beyonce's performance playing her but never less this is an amazing movie. 5/5 stars

Just watched this and I loved it. Omg Adrian brody was great. Back in day was a m- effer for blues artists. All actors were awesome. Mos defense never disappoints and the soundtrack is great too. I would watch it again. 4/5
