This film is really fantastic.. Probably what brought me into the whole zombie film genre. With breathtakingly fantastic shots and comedic moents youll never forget this is one film you wont be forgetting anytime soon. The characters are easily to follow and the moral is simple ; die or die trying!

First off, let me tell you that I do not remember the last time that I enjoyed a movie this much. Director Zack Snyder, who I am not to familiar with did a fine job. I think that this movie is just as if not better than 28 Days Later. Dawn of the Dead is about a big plague event that occurs on earth which makes millions of killer zombies walk about the earth. Then a couple of the survivors attempt to seek safety and shelter from the multiplying zombies. The visuals of the zombies or very creepy and will haunt you for days. The acting was very superb in all aspect. All the actors seemed to know what they were dealing with. I have not seen the original Dawn of the Dead so I will not comment on that. All I can comment on is that this is an outstanding movie that you need to get out and see.

Dawn of the dead 2004 was a great remake but the original was my favorite of the original George A Romero dead series. As good as this film was i didnt think it held up to the original as the original changed my childhood forever. Dawn of the dead 2004 still earned 4/5 stars and a defitly must watch for any zombie fan.

twice i tried watching this the first link sent me to the older version which i didnt like it was slow and the zombies were bad the second time i finally got onto the one i wanted to watch and i loved it its one of the best zombie movies of all time running zombies sharpshooting and a mall to boot i give this a 4/5

This movie is great. One of the best zombie films. I love the way its start. The film is quite scary and the storyline is great. The acting is great. I have seen this film 5 times and i am never get bored of it. 5/5 for me. Its a GREAT movie.

-I love the original DOD, it was a great horror movie that really took the zombie genre to the next level, now we have the remake and for some strange reason it doesn't suck. It's a lot of fun, exciting, and introduced me to a wonderful actress called Sarah Polley. Fans of the original DOD should write a thank you letter to Zack Snyder for making this a truly wonderful film

-The movie has a simple premise. zombies are present for some unknown reason and a few group of survivors have to rough it out in a mall. Whiles there several things happen and new characters are introduced. We meet an obnoxious guy who everyone feels like slapping, there's a love story going through, and they all begin to use the mall to it's full advantage. My favorite has to be the love story between Anna and Michael. I love romantic movies and even one in a gory zombie flick works well. There are several OMG moments in the film, and I guess the best one is the zombie baby waking up from the dead. The movie is graphic, not "Ppassion of the Christ" graphic but still pretty graphic, but the great thing is that the violence is done with a great sense of humor and not taken seriously. The celebrity zombie shooting is probably the best example of it.

-Zack Snyder has done the impossible and made a remake that doesn't suck, and for that he should be applauded. had a great time watching this movie and is looking forward for a sequel

One of the best zombie movies EVER made. I just wish there was a prequel. The cast, the costumes, the story, the actors who played the zombies, the extras, etc. everything is perfect. I think I'm going to write up a petition for another movie. NOT COOL ZACK SNYDER!
