I love Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep and i love this movie. Really enjoyable and funny :)

Meryl Streep is amaziiiiiiing. The scene at the end when she's in the car, her expressions are so subtle and powerful. She's one of the best actresses. I give this movie 9/10

Liked it a lot. Had great acting. I haven't read the book, so I don't know how it compares to that. It was interesting the whole entire time. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!!

The movie is well acted and has a really nice story line. However, i despise the poor judgement of the characters and will not re-watch.

i should have known to stay away from all the estrogen filled comments here. im sure this is a great movie for girl, and my wife sure loved it, but for me it was an hour and a half of almost torturing dialog and crap. i hated it, and thank God for multi tasking guys who are straight, stay away if you can, this is a complete chick flick only to be watch just before sleep to make the wife happy

First of all I have to say that since this movie came out it didn't had any appeal to me. Until today, I decided to watch it because I was bored. Now palm face, since it's a good movie, I should had watched it in the beginning but still I think it's an amazing movie.

I'm not gonna lie, i actually learned a lot about fashion, it was a good movie 4/5

Far too overrated. The commercial snippets, clips and claims fail short of what I'd expected, especially a film involving Meryl Streep. I grasped the whole concept, but eventually found the film to be boring. If you're in love with the flick fine, but a story that contained actual layers was not present whatsoever just another tale of "Going from nothing to something and then forgetting where you came from." I'd hoped that Ms. Streep would have been given more than the one dimensional "Nasty woman, move out my way" bit. Put Meryl Streep on it of course the dollar$ will come rolling in, she's wonderful why not. I've never understood so much of the hype around Anne Hathaway aside from most who decided they would carry an undying love for her because of ,"The Princess Diaries". The fashion seems to have grabbed most "by their over sized pearl" so to speak and convinced them that this movie is remarkable; shoes, heels, over-sized pearls, and a chignon does not a great drama, comedy, romance make. The storyline was more than predictable, but to be expected so that's not reason enough for why this film did not captivate me. Was it at all funny, could have had better moments, however I assume it's the "couture" or the "lavish design of such delicate linen sculptured into mind staggering wearable pieces of art" (yeah...OKAY) that's got everyone head-sprung. "Lily" should be given way more credit for breaking it down to her friend saying; "This glamazon who skulks dark corners with some random hot fashion guy....." If you're into watching a dingy bat so-call find her way in the big city, that praises self-indulgence, gains a bang, is easily captivated by played out simple garments along with cliched name brand rather than quality shoes; hates, but also admires her "devil" of a boss then dive right in. Expect no rating here, "I'm far too posh for that!" LOL.- Stolee =)
