It has some nice moments and passable versions of Beatles songs. The version of "Dear Prudence" was very good. 5 on a 10 scale. Worth watching once!

watched it because across the universe is my favourite beatles song. I had pretty high standards going into this which didn't really live up to in the end. It was alright i suppose 3.25/5

This is my biggest guilty pleasure film. I see the flaws, the cheesiness, but it works for me. I always leave the film with a smile on my face, and love in my heart. I cheer at the characters highs, and feel for them at their lows. I love the tongue in cheek jokes for Beates fans, and it has a kinetic and chaotic feel that I feel represents the era, and it's ideas, very well. I don't like "Dear Prudence" though

I love this movie so much. Every time Across the Universe came on the movie channels, I would watch it. It got so bad that my now ex bought the DVD for me. Of course I still have it and watch it at least once a month now. I love The Beatles. I love the time era this movie was made. I love the characters. I even love the fact that they got Bono to perform 'I am the Walrus.'

This movie is epic, it's in my favorites. It put Jim Sturguss on my radar I try anything with him in it. This movie is a can miss, it lead me to another movie of his the stoning of soyra m which is one of the best movies I have ever seen.

This movie was a movie that I know I will watch many many times. The Beatles are my favorite and have been since I was old enough to listen to music. The interpretation of the songs into this love story was amazingly clever. There were subtleties that just make you think "woah" if you catch on. Well worth a watch, especially if you know Beatles music and can see the correlation. 10/10 :O)

Im usualy not a fan of musicals but this wasnt so bad. I had low expectations when my Hippie friends forced me to watch it with them. or maybe I only liked it cuz I was high as a kite on mushrooms.. :P

Not really down with the whole 'musical' thing, if it wasnt the beatles music that was included, i wouldnt have watched it.

this and the wall are the 2 musicals i can sit threw without falling asleep there both masterpieces and im not just talking about the music. The plots are amazing keeps me watching the whole way threw i only found out about this movie 2 days ago thanks to my film studies teacher and i have to give it a 15/10 its one of the best movies iv seen

Emotionally evoking. I laughed, I cried, I sang, I smiled. A solid story line backed up by and carried by, some excellent music. Will the people of the USA ever stand up again and say "NO MORE!" / Peace.
