Watch Fun with Dick and Jane: The day before Globodyne's stock tanks, a la Enron, and its pension fund evaporates, the corporation's CEO and CFO set up middle manager Dick Harper to be the public face of the disaster. Jobless, and with no savings, pension, or home equity, Dick and his wife Jane sink slowly into poverty. He looks for work (as do all former Globodyne executives); he even tries day labor with the relatives of their Mexican nanny. A foreclosure notice sends Dick and Jane over the edge into a life of blue-collar crime. Then, as things finally look up, the report of an looming indictment pushes Dick and Jane toward a denouement with the real criminals, the white-collar guys. |

This movie is my ALL TIME favourite.. I can't think of any other movie that I can watch forever and still think is funny and exciting.. It's the best ever.. Ever.. Really.. 15/10

I do believe that this is the very first movie remake that I have found to be MUCH BETTER than the original. George Segal and Jane Fonda are good, but their movie (which I watched just a few days ago) just didn't do anything for me. THIS movie, with Jim Carrey, is just so much better -- especially the ending. I would say if you liked the original you'll love this one, and if you didn't care for the original, give this one a chance -- I think you'll like it, too.

I went cinemas to watch this film when it came out and I enjoyed it quite a bit:D Jim Carrey gives a funny performance unlike certain films *cough Mr. Poppers Penguins *cough 6.4/10 Richard Jenkins is also very funny in this too!

Always liked the original with George Segal and Jane Fonda, which was well done and funny. This was turned into a vehicle for Carrey to do his funny faces thing and it never became anything more than that. Check the original.
