I'm a little freak out about Monkey Magic...i was chatting about Monkey Magic and Ninja in the Dragon's Den and next day that movie is there!! and I was talking about the tv series... So since that is done, let's bring starzinger too! hahaha awesome

People if you're a Big Dragon Ball Z fan like I am then you are going to love this movie.I've seen the adaption of the power pole,the fly Nimbus,Oolong in pigsy,and the Saiyan in the Monkey king who was called "GOKU" through out this entire movie.I was told this is where his name came from but it looks like they took more from this folklore then just the name Goku and I love it!THANX 5/5stars Cause I think I saw a SUPER SAIYAN transformation at the end.lol

There are plenty of movies and TV series surrounding the story of the Monkey King. It is Chinese story written some time ago I think back in feudal China. While the Monkey King tends to be written as a simpleton, the truth is he is more powerful than all of the gods combined and nearly brought Chinese heaven down, if it weren't for Buddha tricking him. He has since been forced to live as a mortal under the servitude of the Monk, with a magical ring around his head, to control him.

omg this movie was great! If you appreciate foreign movies, this might easily become one of your faves. 5/5 as an overall movie, not just a foreign movie
