i heard this movie was good, but it isnt just good. its absolutely brilliant. the only thing i could critisize is that the genre is horror but the only scary part is when he is in the room. 9,5/10

I was so glad to finally have this opprotunity, in watching this flix, it's been a while since my last viewing...and I have to say, I've gotten even more out of viewing again, a real understanding...thank U for the free view...I'll probably watch again, on a later date:):)

Great film! But does anyone know where I can find the theatrical version? This is the so-called "directors cut" and is nowhere near as good as the theatrical version.

It is definitely worth the watch. I liked the fact that it pretty much makes you think about what you believe. 9/10

The original ending is the one where he lives and plays the tape the one where he dies is the alternate one. I don't know why people are getting those mixed up

Very good film, one of my favorite horrors. Not as terrifying as some, but did make me jump a few times. Cusack portrays the descent into madness extremely well, and Jackson is an outstanding "creepy-hotel-manager" type. Based on the Stephen King short story which I would also recommend.
