Such a great movie!!! I mean exactly what you look for in a movie romance!!!! great cast, story everything was perfection loved it

Great actors, the scenery is spectacular and great sound track. GREAT film. I really enjoyed watching this film. But beware you need to have the patience to see the film and enjoy it for the greatness that it is. The film is long so we can fully connect with the charactors and pay attention to what Terrence Malick is really trying to tell us. 10/10*'s .

This movie tries to reach out and touch you, to envelop you in the director's vision. Don't go into it with the intention of watching an average film structure. Keep an open mind and let it wash over you. I really enjoyed it and continue to do so. Give it a try.

watched the movie today after coming across this while going through Collin Farrel's profile in wiki and this left me speechless. the direction is amazing with eqaully good performance, music and cinematography..The movie is very poetic and cant express how much I liked this..Have seen other movies like last samurai, braveheart, acopolypso,avatar of similar nature related to colonial settlement which are all brilliant in their own way, but this one is different, very soft delicate, emotional and leaves a deep mark..one just needs to feel the movie.I will probably watch this again and will recommend everyone to watch this..hats off to Terrence Malick, sad that the movie is not a big box offic hit, but the film-maker must have asence of great achievement after this magnificent creation.

This is a powerful, expansive epic that transcends historical idiosyncrasies to deliver a brutally honest reflection on America's beginnings. It's sad, maybe tragic, that the most common complaint against this movie is that it's "boring." Our collective appetite for glam and trickery in cinema--which, let us not forget, is an art form, and therefore should be judged as is any other work of art, by it's invasive ability to make us reflect on our own lives, even if that means actually exercising our minds and uncovering uncomfortable truths--has diverted our attention from true works of art and the intricacies of storytelling, and in this way has allowed us to glide through our everyday lives without honest thought and reflection. But hell, as long as we’re not bored...right? And for all those who stew over the fact that Smith and Pocahontas never frolicked through the woods together holding hand--let's give Malick the benefit of the doubt here, and assume that he was educated enough to have uncovered the same well-kept secret that all of you erudite viewers have. That's to say he used Pocahantas as a vehicle here to tell a much more important story, a wholly sad story in many ways, that is the beginning of America. This is a movie that people need to be “bored” by, because, well, when taken as the sum of it’s parts, it’s the most accurate depiction of our country’s beginning ever told in this medium.

I love this movie it's stunning and even though the real John Smith made the entire romance up and pocohontas really did love John Rolfe, it is a beautiful story though one of these days i would love to see a movie that tells the truth! <3
