My scientific opinion. The Earth's environment has been abused over the last 100 years by Humanity as a whole. Contaminants and pollutants from man made and natural resources, developed and used to make Human Life more convenient. The driving force in all of this is mankind's greed! Alternative energy resources should have been implemented in the 1960's. The technology was available than, it just was not cost effective (lesser profit margin for companies at that time). Their is no going back in time, but think if mankind invested in the development of those technologies at that time, the cost of energy today would not be an issue. The air and water would be clean and people would be healthier. When it comes to climate change. The Earth does go through its' cycles, this can not be avoided! Again, it is the greed of having everything a convenient must in society. The pollutants and contaminants have accelerated the Earths' natural cycle. I do not agree with all conclusions and conjecture this documentary states but the mass of it is accurate. Now that being said. Some of you may and may not agree with me. I have reach the aforementioned conclusions in the 1960's and have foreseen today's truth, based on Sciences, Human Nature, Common Sense and that I have lived long enough to witness it. Even if the environment as a whole is cleaned up within the next twenty years. My conclusion is it will be barely negligible on the Earth's Eco System fifty years from now. The only possible resolution is to stop the pollutants and clean up the environment within five to seven years from now! This would give Humanity a fighting chance for a clean and healthy future. Unfortunately, this will not happen based on mankind's greed! Humanity will survive, but at a cost!
