The father of movie serial killers. The real life Ed Gein inspired characters in movies like, Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw massacre, Silence of the lambs, Red Dragon, many more.

Wow. What a sick, sick man. Even though this movie is an oldie, it was worth watching for the true life story of Ed Gein... As I said, very sick!

Seriously? Ed Gein is an actual person who killed and dug up women. He made a skin suit and pretended he was a woman. He had real skull candy bowls and chairs made from human flesh. Ed Gein is one of the most famous serial killers

This movie is from 1974. It mentions before the movie that it is true and names & locations have been changed. I can understand why they might change the names of the victims, but the killer...that was weird. They do call him Ezra Cobb in the movie, however it is about Ed Gein. Good acting. Ed was one of the very few the FBI actually believed was insane. The movie is not accurate. Special effects stink. 2/5

Not the best movie I've seen based on Gein,but for its time it was ok. Good for a one time watch if your into ur real life serial killer movies. 7/10
