This movie is worth seeing if you like westerns. I love westerns but this movie wasn't that great in my opinion. I did like the score though. And the acting wasn't too bad. Worth a try.

At the most i give it a 4/5 on this..Pretty heavy shooting, but the best is Doc Hollywood because out of no where his on it!

I don't usually like western type film, but Tombstone was just exciting. Doc Holliday, played by Val Kilmer; is one of my favorite characters compared to those in other film genres. His comments are witty and make the movie great by itself. In short, all of the characters made the film thoroughly captivating. Surprisingly, this film is also very funny- tongue-in-cheek humor is employed at just the right times. Plot development is stellar. I recommend this movie as being one of my all time favorites, as it is not just for western-fans. Action, comedy, crime fans alike will get thrills from this film. AND VAL KILMER -Boy, was he ever robbed. His virtuoso performance as Doc Holliday is INFINITELY more worthy of an Academy Award than most of those that have got the Oscar... Great Movie'

Excellent movie, great Western! This movie is incredible all around with perfect casting, a great script, and some awesome, most memorable lines! (I also think it's pretty cool that all the main male actors grew their own real mustaches for this film ;-), it was a neat bit of trivia on the Director's Cut DVD.) Tombstone is one of my all time favorite movies! When I watched this movie back when it first came out, I thought FOR SURE Val Kilmer deserved an Oscar for his performance; he truly embodied the character of Doc Holliday, and quite frankly, he stole the show. It's just one of those performances that as your watching it, you just know it's Oscar worthy! I was very disappointed that the Academy didn't nominate Val! Even Tom Hanks (among other actors) said Val should've been nominated for an Oscar for his outstanding performance. Oh well...Hey Val, it's an Oscar winning performance in my book, & many others agree ;-)! Enjoy! ***(Note: If you like Tombstone, check out Open Range with Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner. I waited and waited for another great Western after Tombstone...ten years later, it finally came when I saw Open Range - Kevin Costner & Robert Duvall together in a Western, how can you go wrong? ;-) I own both movies, never tire of them, and I will keep them both forever...right next to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid...LOL...ok, I'll stop :-)....Sorry, I'm just very passionate when it comes to movies, music, and life! :-D Happy Easter Everyone!
