Plays like a slightly nasty Wes Anderson movie, in that it's a comedy drama about an eccentric and highly dysfunctional family. Characters are well constructed and the cast works great in their rolls. 7/10

The movie was pretty good, all the characters including the little brother were sinister enough to keep this humorous during something so heavy as finding out your parents aren't the people you think they were when you're old enough. I mean a lot of people could relate to it, but it's not really meant to provoke too many bad feelings there's a nice balance and while people hate on Eisenberg, he does play a good 80's character, if you like it watch him in Adventureland. My favorite character was the little brother, he drank beer and busted a web slinger all over town lol 8/10

I can't understand why so many people liked this film. It takes a similar theme from Irreconcilable Differences (A movie from the late 70's or early eighties with Dustin Hoffman). I was annoyed after I watched this movie because I felt I just wasted 90 minutes of my life. It left nothing to talk about. It had no real point except how a divorce affects children, but we did not get to know the characters of this movie well enough to understand them because they stayed one dimensional throughout. It had the same kind of story line as Seinfeld. After you see it, you won't remember it two weeks later.

The movie started out well, and goes to show that education doesn't always yield intelligence. But the movie has a weak climax and no ending. 2/5

6/8, was an okai movie, i think the acting was okai but at times seemed a bit low cut :)

Awww, a cute little story quirky and interesting!

Wanted to watch this movie, but quickly found out that dude Eisenberg was playing in it...hence I immediately shut it off. That dude can't act, only has one dull role he can play, and it probably is just himself.. Cant stand the motherF*****.
