Wise decision to not have shown the beasts that much. It would've been lame to show them in real light because of obvious difficulties (no spoilers here). The wild cannot be tamed for movies, that said which is more than enough, and without resorting to CGI, which would've cut down the believability factor to about 70 % in this case. In such a scenario, let the actors carry the suspense instead, and amp up the mystery factory in return. Less is more, showing everything is often a mistake in terms of horror flicks. This movie was beautifully done, very suspenseful, no gimmicks, and throughout I wondered if American movies could pull this off. Probably not, because they would have used typical horror humor, to cover the fact that a movie like this is very hard to make in a believable fashion. This is a great horror movie, my only complaint is that it was too short. The story behind was well put together and the character development was well done. 7 out of 10. Had it been longer, Prey would've easily racked an 8/10 and would've perhaps joined the ranks of Descent.

I never like horror pictures where the scenes are too dark or the camera movement is just too fast to follow. This movie has both. 2/5

Expected This To Be Better---Nothing Extreme Like French Horror Usually Is--Good One Time Watch!!

What was the point of this? I watched it all the way through hoping something good was going to come up but nothing did. The "beasts" weren't much of a beast and I barely got what they were saying. Sure it would of been alot better if it was in english, but even so it would of been horrible. 4/10

if you are watching a thriller movie for the first time, you may enjoy this. I simply dont. 5/10

good thriller and pretty different however the movie could have been better..although the photography is good, the beasts are never shown clearly which is little annoying.

People can'u read English WTF??? i MEAN i WATCHED a lot of foreign movies and after a little while u get used to the Subtitle.If u stopped watching the flick because subtitles u r messed up.I am sick of 150 million$$$$ budgeted Hollywood Spielberg style trash.This was an ok horror very original and good acting.And please ppl learn reading 'cause u r missing a whole bunch of great films!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was a pretty good movie...entertaining, a alot of good jump scares ,mounting tension and axiety is what keeps you on the edge of your chair....it had the potential to be terribly frightening...even tho you never get to see the whole creature...and i wanted a rescue team to go back in there in the daylight so we could see the horror of the situation.....could have been really terrifying..... i gave it 6/10 for keeping me interested
