Very motivating show, keeps me going and being organised! LOL Definitely a must watch for people who tend not to keep their house clean. 5/5

I love watching this show , it keeps me from being a hoarder. I did know a man who was a hoarder of brand new items. He had tools and tackle all over the place. He lived in a 3 bedroom house and only one of the beds could be used , the other 2 were bowed down in the middle from all the tools and stuff he had laying on it.

I honestly feel that they should work with the hoarders for more than 2 days. It seems as though the first day they really don't get much done because everyone is fighting through the emotional and mental problems that have gone on for years. The second day is the day that they really get through to the hoarders. With that third day they could work even further. With the massive amount of crap these hoarders have, I honestly feel that it would be much better if they worked with these individuals/families for longer than 2 days. 4 days at most would work wonders on the homes. It would also give hoarders time to work through their stuff and hold a garage sale and make money from their stuff that they can. I actually would love to work with the company 1-800-Got-Junk but the closest one to me is 7 hours away. I'd love to be a part of a group that helped others like this. On the other note, this show has literally made me think about my life in whole. I'm trying to keep my house cleaner and am in the mood to getting rid of everything in my home that I haven't used or wont. Its worth a watch if you can stomach it and if you can handle it emotionally as there is a lot of neglect towards family members (such as their own children)and abuse and neglect to animals.

I actually knew some people who were Hoaders. SRS took their kids cause of it. By the time they realize what their problem was it was too late. They never got their kids back....

these people are nuts, ive known a few myself hahaha but when it gets as bad as these guys its just sad, and a lot of the times really gross with all the food and like moldy stuff and then it attracts bugs or i've even seen people with wild animals even raccoon's getting into their houses, i just don"t know how anyone could live like that,

You feel sorry for them at first but after a while I start to think no this has got to stop..like the woman who keeping rotting food 4 years out of date and arguing necause it was in a fridge it was ok...That stuff would have killed her and the clean up guy was right to go against her decisions and throw it...great show tho.

I'm seriously addicted to this show, going through them all like there's no tomorrow!! lol Keep checking round my flat to make sure I'm not like them. No worries of that though, I'm a total neat freak! :) The show does make you paranoid though. I feel sorry for all of them, but I can feel the relatives' frustration when they're trying to clean up, and the hoarder is checking every filthy item one by one! Especially the rotten food, gross!!! I keep wondering how much they pay those 1-800 Got Junk guys? LOL

If this was a family member of mine I would find a way to get them out of the house and then have a junk removal company take everything out of there and toss it out. I am sorry but they will have to just be sad becasue this is beyond something I would baby someone about.

This show makes me sad. And though I'm only sixteen, my family all say that I have the qualities of a hoarder. :( But the psychiatrist people on this show are horrible. At least the one's that I've seen.

Was interesting to see a few episodes but couldn't hack. I had a whole room full of various stuff, home decor, suitcase full of old cards,letters, clothes and childhood toys. When I moved to a new place it all went in the trash, couldn't deal with it anymore. After that the show made me feel kind of sick. Happy to say still no clutter.

I stopped watchin this show after the women who had bags of her own sh!t, about 3 to 4 ft high, tossed in a corner becuz she wouldn't get the clutter out of her bathroom.
