WOW! What a great movie. I really enjoyed this. I don't like MG, but he was pretty good here. AB was such a little cutie-pie, I really like her movies. This will be one of my favs.

No matter how many times I watch this(especially at night), it still always gives me the creeps! Good plot and good actors! 10/10 priceless!

I don't particularly care for how theistic this movie is. But I did recently read an interpretation that stated that the aliens were actual demons manifested from Rev. Graham's crisis of faith. It makes me want to give the film another look at least

The first time i saw it back then i didn't fancy it much, never was a fan of these kind of movies. But second time i watched it, probably becuz i've changed as a person, it was very scary. Anything made by M. Night Shyamalan captures my heart, he truly is originally minded genius artist lol & i like his vivid imagination. It can be a bit slow for most peeps maybe not much happening, but it's creepy and M always chooses the best actors who can deliver and put life into the stories :), really loved the spiritual point of view 9.5/10

I am always confused by movies where aliens invade us, and are thusly taken down by simple things we take for granted. In War of the Worlds, you'd think a species capable of interstellar space travel would have a scientist that would be smart enough to say something like; "Don't go there cuz they might have germs." Same with this movie. The aliens have the same reaction to water as we do with acids. I highly doubt we'd go to a planet that's made up of 1/3 acid, so why did these "intelligent" lifeforms make this trip for? lol Maybe they were suicidal or something.

I watched this for the first time 5 years ago when I was 11 so thought I would check this out again, I may be in the minority but I was disapointed with this film, maybe im being a bit harsh but I dont think M. Night Shyamalan has made a good movie since sixth sense, movie seamed to drag, not a big Mel Gibson fan so that didn't help things, plot wasn't to great, ending was flat and left me unsatisfied. All my opinion of course, 4/10.

It was OK. Not much action and you didn't get to see the aliens much so yeah, was pretty bad in my opinion I love a Alien invasion films but only when it's like Independence Day and War of the Worlds.. This was just bad for my taste. 6/10

I like the movie but they came to the wrong planet if they're allergic to water plus all the moisture in there air that just doesn't make sense to me, how could they walk around without burning,

I enjoyed this movie mostly because of the suspense it created and the characters appeared genuine.

aliens coming to a planet mostly made of water that can be fatal i guess to them WTF.... up to that part it was decent with good acting. M. Night shamalon a twist at the end doesn't always make a great movie. -.- 2.3/5

my cousin is actually did the narrative voice in the "radio on the shelf" toward the end. kinda cool. still gets royalty checks when it plays on tv lol

I really liked this. It made me wonder what it would be like if this really happened. It wasn't overly done and the movie movie was really about the family not the aliens but I loved it. Did you know Joaquins real name is Leaf. hahaha

This film is really good, what a classic. yea some parts are a bit cheesy (im talking the script)but i found it funny. good movie. 4/5
