Contrary to some of the comments here, I thought this was an excellent movie and the underlying story is a psychological goldmine. I think this movie should be given a chance as it is a classic, not understood in its time as it made some breakthroughs in Brit cinema, but I believe now it is regarded as one of the best movies ever made. 5*!

This movie, made in 1960, uses the filming within the film technique that is popular today in movies like: Blair Witch, Cloverfield etc. It's a shame the director's career was ruined by the industry because of it. I don't think the subject matter in 10 Rillington Place is any more pristine than sadistic voyeurism is in this one. Both of the films have no gore and are creepy.

This was a fine movie, although a bit slow. The acting was very good. And the movie had a nice plot. Worth a watch.
