Thora Birch was awesome in this true story. I was amazed at how resourceful this girl was and this was better than many movies that make it to the big screen! 5/5 Very inspirational.

Wonderful true story! Sometimes it just takes gut's and determination to get yourself through life and in this story this girl went through hell to come out the other side shinning .

This movie is a true inspiration, mainly because it's a true story. I felt really sad for her father as he was really smart but a drug addict. This is a good watch, makes you feel good in the end, makes you want to do something productive. Great! 5/5

This is an awesome movie. Very inspiring story of how a young girl was able to rise above her circumstances and not let her surroundings dictate who she had to be. Thora Birch plays the part like a gem. 5 stars.
