this is one of my all time fav movie. I love shrek. i have seen it atleast 50 times easily. donkey might be one of my all time fav animated character ever! i like that boulder, thats a nice boulder lol. cant beat this movie. second one is also awesome. third was ok and then not so much after that but this one is awesome and so is the next one. dont just watch it, go out and buy a DVD. its worth having. 10/10

Shrek is a wonderful film because it has both kids humour and adult humour so its fun for everyone in the family. I give it 10/10.

For a kids cartoon, Shrek was some ground breaking stuff at the time and it still is to this day, with its very adult plot, characters, jokes and themes and its many vicious jabs at the Disney company. A comedy classic

The animation is great, it's weird how it looks quite realistic. Shrek is a great character, even though he's seems to be mean, he really does have a good side to him :) And you would never of thought he would be friends with someone like donkey. But everyone has got to love that little annoying donkey xx 10/10

this movie is like no other, its about tis ogre called shrek.shrek wants his home back because the short king had sent all the fairy creatures to live in the swamp(shreks home) So to get back his swamp he has to find the princess and bring it to the king so the king can marry the princess.
but on the way he finds love and friends!!!! i hope you enjoy this movie!!!!!!!

This is the first part of a four part trilogy. This film is the introduction of the trilogies and shows you who all of the characters are and what series of event brought these characters together.

The story of Shrek, Fiona and Donkey is one of love, comedy, a little action and love. Be sure to watch this film.

Fantastic family movie with a very well thought storyline. It is very funny (which is the perk that family films need nowadays). Good voiceovers by Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz, they deserve the money that got for these movies with performances that these. I very much like the soundtrack to the movie too!

Oh, Shrek! It is such an awesome movie. All the characters. The first one is the best of them all, because it the story that made all the Shrek fans fall in love with it. Donkey is so annoying and so adorable at the same time. The actors who make their voices are just perfect as well. A movie to be captivated.
