Has absolutely nothing to do with the legend and myth that is beowulf. Rhona Mitra and Layla Roberts gives it a certain hotness. Action is so-so. 2/5

The music did not fit in at all, more techo music. If they had used some decent music it would have made a big difference to the feel of the movie. But I did like the monsters they were very good. Over all it was not too bad of a movie but could have been a lot better.

I have to admit that the only reason I watched this was Rhona Mitra. Terrible soundtrack, unremarkable fight scenes, lame script. Still, it has Rhona in it.

I rented this once but never got to watch it. The setting is cool, but I'd say this had to be direct to video. I can't remember if there was such a thing then.

I watched some parts of this film twice just incase I missed something...I think you should not watch this due to many things! Please move-on to your next film on your list. the IMDB for this film is 3.8 and I think it shoould be much lower than that.

this wasnt as bad as i thought it would be after reading the comments. but, i will say, the music was irritating and the audio sound effects were horrid. i listened with head phones, i could hear the crinkling of their leather looking clothing, background voices that seemed to come from no one. i like all movies like this, so i am easily amused by most of thie genere. i did like the newer animated one way more. however the lead actress in this version is one of my favorites, just the right amount of sensuality, feminism and kick ass ass kicking attitude. she was in one of the underworld movies and played a vamp in a short run tv serious called the gates. the music after the movie, when the credits are rolling has a few good songs, one with my favorite nina hagen with kmfdm singing witness.

No matter what I see Christopher Lambert in, he's always the same character; therefore, for me he's become a bit boring. I like the Beowulf story, but this film is rather silly i.e. dialogue and acting is rather mediocre. 2/5

i like the idea the settings and scenery are cool so is the monster and Christopher Lambert was awesome. But omg the Soundtrack was terrible it was just techno music i felt like i should be doing X and dancing around a black light...the acting was bad and i dont know if it was the costumes but everyone moved real stiff and robotic....i give it a 2/5 could have been better

wow... just get the syfy channel to see better.

Ok 4 1 time watch. It was a lot of fun 2 watch in a so bad tat its so good kind of way. Rhona Mitra was hot as hell in a dress tat shows most of her assets.
