Music from Another Room: Music From Another Room is a romantic comedy that follows the exploits of Danny, a young man who grew up believing he was destined to marry the girl he helped deliver as a five year old boy when his mother's best friend went into emergency labor. Twenty-five years later, Danny returns to his hometown and finds the irresistible Anna Swan but she finds it easy to resist him since she is already engaged to dreamboat Eric, a very practical match. In pursuit of Anna, Danny finds himself entangled with each of the eccentric Swans including blind, sheltered Nina, cynical sister Karen, big brother Bill and dramatic mother Grace as he fights to prove that fate should never be messed with and passion should never be practical. |

I'm trying to figure out why this movie is rated only 3 and a bit stars/5 when I thought it couldn't be more perfect. it's a sweet romance with very good humour. It kind of made my evening. 5/5!!!!

Not sure if my last comment posted. This movie is perfect. Perfect Actors/Actresses, perfect plot and perfect at bringing out all your emotions, you'll laugh & cry :) 5/5 Thanks to whoever put this up here, been looking for it forever!

this is NOT a romantic dramedy for the simple minded. this is a romantic dramedy for the romantics.

This is such a sad waste of talent. Peters as a writer and director has the subtlety of a bullhorn: there is not one breath in this movie, every moment is scored with swelling strings or lonely piano and flute. Almost to the moment when the main couple falls in love, it signals a downbeat of Savage Garden: Truly Madly Deeply. These characters are mature people, not teenagers. The entire film feels like Lifetime and Hallmark Channel rolled into one — not a single surprise, everything is by-the-book. Whatever you think is going to happen at the beginning is what transpires. A romantic dramedy for the simple minded.
