I love this film i have watched it hundreds of times, and still love it. this is an excellent slasher movie for fans of horror movies.Its worth a watch and i love ghostface when he just pops out of the most impossible places. this film is great i give it a 10/10

The scream series are amazing. I love there plot,suspense,and the amazing choice of actors. I think Wes craven and Kevin Williamson did a great job writing and directing this movie. I'm so happy they made more. And i can't wait for the fourth installment in the series.

One year after the murder of teenager Sidney Prescott's (Campbell) mother, a serial killer starts carving his way through her friends in a sleepy American town.

Wes Craven's hugely inventive and amusing "Post-modern" slasher was so successful it both reinvigorated and changed the genre. Or rather, reverted it. John Carpenter wrote the rule book with Halloween in 1978, and nothing much changed until a wave of (arguably) more intelligent and serious horror films became popular in the late 1980s (Angel Heart, Silence of the Lambs, Misery, etc.).

For Scream, Craven decided to dig out the old rule book, dust it down, add a few notes on self-referential mockery and throw all his skil and experience into a glossy and slightly watered-down slasher movie for a new generation. THe result is a fantastically enjoyable film that works as both a sly comedy and an excellent addition to the slasher horror genre. Campbell's Sidney Prescott is a great substitute for Jamie Lee Curtis' Laurie Strode in Halloween, a sweet, delicate, all-American girl who outlives friends through determination and the retention of her virginity - an essential if ou want to survive in a slasher movie. But the presence of horror legend Wes Craven ensures the film doesn't stick so predictably to the generic blueprint as to lose its ability to surprise and scare. The ingenious use of mobile phones is an effective idea that provides great tension building potential, particularly in the much copied and hugely successful opening sequence in which a terrified young girl, home alone and receiving prank phone calls from the killer, suddenly realizes she's being watched by him, too.

l give a rating of 1 because it was a horrible movie l didn't like it ridiculous running away from the killer everytime he come towards you. The next thing is that the people who made the movie should stop putting the movie stab during the movie l didn't know why dimension flims actually put that it dosen't follow anything in the series it dosen't make any sense, & why it's put in it in the frist place.
