A really moving film about a very strong romance/love affair which extended over WII. A gripping story, with different components, and excellent acting. I agree with the previous review about the lack of English subtitles - a great deal of spoken French for no form of translation. It gave you no clue as to what was being discussed, aside from common sense, location, people involved, etc. I can understand some basic French, but I don't speak it fluently. This was a major pit-fall for the film

Can someone please tell me what the hell Karma is on this website.... All I want to do is watch the movie and comment on it. All the extra- silly stuff? I just don't get it. I just spent 10 minutes typing a short but very useful comment and I cant post it because my Karma is low... What the hell is Karma on this website? By the way the movie is Great! Watch it:)

one of the most beautiful romantic/war movie i have ever seen.wonderful acting and custom disgne.i loved watching it and highly recommand it.

good movie, it was in english but there was alot of french spoken and german at times, it would have been helpful to have had some subtitles translating those lanquages in english, I assumed it just wasnt that important to have to know what they were saying but at times it was a little annoying b/c they went on and on. Def worth watching tho, about love and war and the acting was great. 3/5

I actually rather enjoyed this. Definitely my type of film. Great acting, and plot. Very believable. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Good mix of romance and war. Well worth seeing!
