they are making a sequel to this......... have a look on IMDB there is independence day 2 and 3..... so hopefully they are making it....... this is the best alien invasion film without a doubt

This was a very good movie, one of the best alien movies. There were a lot of slow parts and it was very dragged out though. Still the acting was very good. There were some funny parts but also some touching and sad parts. The end is very touching. Worth a watch, especially if you like alien movies.

Holy cow! I love this movie!! I watch it every time it comes on TV, though it is cut up some. I will never get tired of watching a good kick butt film like this where the human spirit prevails. 9/10

Here we try to acquire our independence not just from tyranny but for our right to survive. An alien highly technologically advanced society decides we have what the want and they are just going to take it. A great sci-fi that exudes tremendous hope. 10/10

10 thumbs up... I remember i watch this film in theater...A Blockbuster hit in 1996.The Cinema of ST.LUCIA MALL is over crowded.....And every scenery where shouting....Great cast....I hope they make a part two of this movie...Same cast i prepare....
