Oh yeah the movie I liked it but I was hoping old rev cooper would get corn holed as a little bit of pay back 8/10

Strange for a Kevin Smith movie but a good watch nonetheless. Actually thought that the rapture was coming near the end and that the film was pulling a 'From Dusk til Dawn'. 7/10

That was really good, Great story and a great cast. Michael parks and John goodman were excellent. 8/10

What got me was the sirens but would have been better if angels came down and took them to hell. But i do remember seeing a movie with sirens in it and horsemen and a portion of a women and her little girl she takes her little girl up on a mountain and preys for god forgiveness while she holds a gun on her daughter. Anybody seen this movie. And it's not The 7th Sign.

It was cool to see something different from Kevin Smith, great action and of course...original. Great performance from John Goodman.

funny when you believe not really at all but it looks true from seeing but it might not be, the movie makes you think what if there was a guy like that telling beautiful women in his family i love you god wants me to love you so love me cause i would never hurt you, also have my baby. amazing right having the balls to have sex with your fam in the name of the {thee} from however above may be. the movie makes think but it also has you to say think you ever from stopping that if it ever happen, the movie was ok it makes you think.

Still not sure what I just watched, seemed stupid to me.

First part was good then right at the end I was like "what?" I mean I got the message and it's one that definitely applies today, but it just felt disjointed from the initial vibe of the film. I dunno, left me weirded out instead of satisfied. Okay for a watch.

This movie is really really good. So good to see some quality writing and a fantastic cast.

This movie was so not predictable....all though I did get the same thought as you did, Falconel, but boy was I surprised and amazed by the way the movie shifted. I'm not sure that I found the ending funny, but more shocking and puzzling ...

Well in the Q&A he did before a screening of this movie he mentioned he wrote an alternate ending and that would have been the rapture but that was more like a jokingly written ending for the script.

i did not understand this movie not one bit. it touched a few topics but it seemed all over the place i didnt quite get the message. ill give it a fair rate of 2/5 just for the gunplay and the crazed characters.

But really, we've been killing each other in God's name since the first Neanderthal came up with the concept.

It was an okay movie, definitely not a horror though. Only thing that seemed to make it watchable was the cast which was actually pretty good. Okay for a one time watch but that's about it. 7/10

This movie is intense, and exciting to watch. Clearly something Kevin Smith has been working on for a while and totally a change of pace. It isn't horror in the systematic sense, but it is horrifying in others. There is a scary theme of realism behind the film. It is also clearly mocking The Westborrow Church in Kansas, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least that there was a plausibility of truth behind this film even though it is a work of a creative genius. I give this movie an 8 out of 10 for sure.

What a surprise! Low expectations, but it was worth watching.

Has its flaws, but it was an interesting, not easily classifiable direction for Kevin Smith - don't look for Jay and Silent Bob here. Great performances from Michael Parks and John Goodman. Dialogue is a bit ham-handed in the second half of the film (no subtlety or nuance in its jumble of messages) but all in all, worth a watch.

Amen...kick ass movie 9.5/10...didnt like the ending but it was appropriate...not all great flicks makes it to the big screen...a must see!!!!

they should call this movie THE CRAZIES. full of suspense twisted crazy ass movie. 8/10
