This film was a very good one to watch but for some reason I still felt my self getting bored and half way through I turned off and did something else before coming back to it. It is a very respectable movie, with humorous jokes and certain cringeyness (anyone who has seen this film will know what i mean) but this movie has an all round good story line with good role models and good examples of how to cope with certain situations. I give this film a rating of 8/10

Not terribly awful, but not that great. The funniest part of the film was Eric Idle as Merlin, but that's it, really. The worst things about it were the rest the new characters, who aren't as funny or endearing as the ones from "2", especially the unnecessary ogre triplets

When his frogger-in-law, King Harold, suddenly croaks, Shrek with his belly in knots, Donkey (the irreplaceable Eddie Murphy) and the frisky, feline, sword-for-hire Puss in Boots, take to the high seas in search of the only other possible heir to the throne, Fiona's long-lost, troublesome cousin Arthur. Shrek is willing to do anything to be the man who "would be king" instead of... King. But before you can say Rumplestiltskin, handsome snake Prince Charming mounts an attack on the land of Far, Far Away. Well, the farting, wallowing, vomiting and belching is all there. I personally enjoyed the transvestite wolf (Team alpha, super, awesome, cool, dynamite, wolf- squadron) and Doris the Ugly Stepsister (Larry King), a lot! The spoofs are funny, trying to keep the film feeling fresh, but come up short. Unfortunately my final impression was a bit underwhelming (the funniest parts are in the trailers). Overall, i think it is quite a fall from the 2001 Oscar-winning classic that started the lucrative franchise and made Dreamworks Animation famous. On the other hand, It is as simple to watch as reading a children’s storybook and it brings family closer; i love watching Shrek with my little sister. As Pinocchio says in the film: "Uh. Hmm, well, uh, It wouldn't be inaccurate to assume that I couldn't exactly not say that it is or isn't almost partially incorrect (to say)...On the contrary. I'm possibly more or less not definitely rejecting the idea that in no way with any amount of uncertainty that I undeniably Do or do not"...like this movie!!

Just as good as the first two shreks :) 10/10

i like "the show" thing about the movie...sure it's bad compared to shrek 2 but still has its value
