@D666 "they called themselves an army but never had the nerve to come out and fight like one" Perhaps you are unfamiliar with insurgency/ non-conventional warfare? Its a radical new concept that has only been around for thousands of years. A brave RUC man came walking up our street With 600 British soldiers gathered round his feet, "Come out ya cowardly Fenians come on out and fight!" But he cried I'm only joking when he heard my Armalite!

This is an excellent production. I thought the film was balanced and fair when there was no fairness nor balance in the events depicted nor in the aftermath of the inquiry. The production captured the moods of day, giving us glimpses of people involved and the chaos that dominated. I have no doubt that the British Army was unprofessional and I knew that long long ago. I am Irish.

This is a very good and emotionally charged film that brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it. Plain and simple this was a pure massacre on the part of the British Government who should bow their heads in shame, but instead put it in the hands of a piece of shit like Lord Chief Justice Widgery, being the coward that he is, he condoned their actions. Let us just see what Karma has in store for him and all the garbage attached to this operation. God bless all the victims and their families in this entire struggle. However the IRA are no better in a lot of ways having taken innocent lives as well.

If you thought you didn't understand the 'comedy' aspect of this movie you were wrong...it's infact a charade that no justice has ever been done about this massacre...it's infact a sick joke that no 'public inquiry' has ever shed any light over such heinous crime or any other ones before or since....is it a laughing matter that the Northern Ireland situation still remains unresolved after all these years?? This movie stands witness to one of the most unacceptable period in the history of G.B....never mind if you'll end up laughing to tears.....
