can`t beat the early 70`s for creepy movies, and creepy bad acting, but if you like it, worth a watch 3/5 lol

I couldn't get into this, it was too slow that I ended up falling asleep.

This is of the creepiest movies ! ever! I get scared everytime I watch it..It is way under-rated as a thriller/Horror A VERY Creepy classic! 70's style :) The lead actress Zohra Lampert is also brilliant! In this! I love her voice. Watch "opening Night' If you like her! One of my all time favorites for sure! Simple yet raw creepiness!Excellent atmosphere, and eerie music..there is always that One "part" of the Movie that stays with me..and creeps me out every time- you'll see ;O)

I remember this movie as one that literally scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. (I was around 11 when it came out)I doubt it will have the same effect, but should be fun.

Yes, it is actually possible to create a dense atmosphere without expensive FX 'n stuff but - unfortunately - they don't make flicks like that one any more. Common taste went downhill into Gore and Splatter, so there you go ... watched it in the 70s as a kid and couldn't remember the name since they tend to change them in Krautland but it came all back when I heard the haunting theme (attic scene). Unfortunately, there are lapses in logic (like the girl from the silver framed pic - familiar much? And no one actually notices? And if my Italian hasn't abandoned me completely, Millefiori means "(A) Thousand Flowers" instead of "Evil Flowers" which would be "Malefiori" - please correct me if I am wrong!). Guess they wouldn't be able to remake that un, at least not contemporary-style, as every 21st century woman in her own mind would skin that redheaded hippiechick for cheating with her man... I would *LOL* (husband has a tonsure already so there it would be bust-his-'nads). And the mole looks more like a mouse to me but, eh, who gives a damn. If it comes to creepiness and you'd like to actually watch some oldskool suspense with an interesting plot, that would be "Let's scare Jessica to Death". Therefore, in relation to atmo and flair .... 8 of 10!

theirs nothing like a classic horror to put you back in the mindset of the good old days when movies like this scared the scared the bejeezus out of you
