good movie!!!! Good cast, direction, & plot. 7/10!!!

Unbelievably fantastic movie ! Some very shattering moments in this that will make you think , and John T is amazing and very very believable in this role which had to have tugged on the emotions alot ! 9.5/10

this movie rocks. what an awesome cast in this crime thriller. salma is not only stunning but does a wicked job in this movie. 2 thumbs way up.

Unconvincing from beginning to end. First, Martha was a fat, unattractive woman, while Hayek is a stunner. Second, the film takes a callous approach to the murders. Third, the visuals maybe 1940's, the language certainly is not. The whole thing seems to be more about quarelling cops and Salma's up-and-down bum cheeks than capturing the real spirit and sadness of these terrible tragedies.

where has this little gem been hiding??? just when u think its gonna b a cheesy noir detective flick it gets pretty dark and turns into a very watchable dark comedy with brilliant performances by bat-crap crazy salma hayek and a wig wearing jared leto. 8/10

Damn who knew Salma Hayek could act:L This movie was kind of boring and it only got good towards the end of the movie:/ The actors were good with their performances, Scott Caan was pretty funny I thought:L John Travolta and James Gandolfini are a good team up and were very believable as partners as they would have multiple disagreements but they would still talk to each other. 5.5/10 The kid that plays John Travolta's son was likable as most kids in these types of movies are normally annoying. It's a one time watch though others may think different. Did anyone else think Jared Leto looked like Zac Efron?;L

This was a very good movie. Of course I don't recall one with John Travolta that I didn't like. He must've made this a family affair 'cause I notice on the cast of actors an Ellen and Sam Travolta played in it also. 4/5

Excellent movie, based on true life, classic film noir. Seriously good.
