Incredible love story that toes the line of creepiness that everlasting love often toes. LOL! The story was brilliant in every possible way from casting of Tom Cruise, who plays haughty carefree playboy very well, to lighting and screen-shots, direction, and even the scene-cutting...this movie was a master-stroke. Originally called Abre Los Ojos, the mexican film re-shot to release in America, is the story of a man who is rambling around in a carefree lifestyle as a millionaire owner of a magazine and newspaper empire that was willed to him in his fathers death. As he inherited the power and control of the company he saw many sideways looks and prying eyes which he obsessedly began to believe were trying to do anything to cheat him out of his company. In his wild erotic love life a woman he hadnt slept with but has such extraordinary chemistry with, becomes his dream come true. By and far the best chemistry I ever saw in a movie, which made it quickly my number one for most romantic movie. But it doesnt stop with just the love story, no no...this movie is unsurpassed with its twists and surprise endings...the film is up there with "Jacobs Ladder", "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas", and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" in its filmographic ability to convey our minds powerful ability over us with dramatic flashes, memories, and sequences and almost hypnotic trance-like hallucinations. One of the most sexy, romantic, wild, CRAZY movies you'll EVER watch. 11/10...more than perfect...exceptional. Also, after you watch the movie if you want to quibble over what REALLY happened in the movie, I can tell you some AWESOME things I noticed to clarify what the movie really was about...listen to Julie Giannies cell phone ring...it'll give you a hint...

wow brilliant! honestly with the speed at which technology is moving these days, I think the things in this movie which were just sci-fi ten years ago will be very possible 5 to 10 years from now. anyways GREAT movie 10/10

Great Movie, kinda makes you think " EVERY PASSING MINUTE IS A CHANCE TO TURN THINGS AROUND" couldn't of said it better myself.

This movie causes me to seriously think. Nothing to do with the storyline. Rather it has so many twists and turns I nearly had a mental blowout! It's hard to be entertained when there's so much mental "work" involved. I can see where many may enjoy this film, however, I prefer more lighthearted stories. 2/5.

I really liked this one ! It's a very good psychological thriller yet when it deals with the romance case, the movie failed to get me touched because I'm not a big fan of cheating partners or friends with benefits. I also strongly criticize the unjustified, needless intense sex scenes and nudity, the movie central plot alone was strong enough to keep the movie powerful and mind blowing without the need to add such scenes to cheapen it. I give it 9/10
