I remember this film. It used to e my favourite film but then we lost it when we moved house, I was really upset about it... all hail the Internet!

I can not believe that after so many years this movie will keep me mesmerised from start to finish...again. Just love it! 10/10

The amount of imagination and love of the craft (puppeteer work) that went into this movie is just staggering. By today's standard this kind of work is unprecedented where CGI runs rampant to make production companies more money at cheaper production costs (quantity over quality, atypical corporate business mentaltiy), but I digress. This will remain a classic among kids and those who grew up with this dark fantasy for years to come. The story, music, voice acting, and puppets all combine into an unforgettable experience.

I can agree with most of the commenters here! this was a childhood fave! I can't wait to watch it again! I remember thatbig bird looking thing always saying "hhhhmmmm"... lol! This s going to be soooo great.... **settles in with popcorn**

this is one of my fav movies when I was growing up love it! I'm glad I found it on this site so I can watch it when ever I want I had the dvd but lent it to my cousins daughter and never got it back lol. 10/10

Besides The Labyrinth, this was the best Jim Henson film I have ever seen. The imagination that went into this film is amazing. A true masterpiece that I highly recommend!

every trip to the video shop as a child i would always ask for this! every single week even though the weird woman with the eye freaked me out, this and labyrinth were my top films as a child! 5/5

i remember watching this when i was little scared the crap outta me ... and i never understood it .. but i see it for the first time in like 10 years about a year ago and after i watched it all i could say was " OMG I GET IT NOW " and it still creeps me out even now but its most deffently one of my fav best childhood movies 9/10 :)

haha pretty much the same with everyone here about when they 1st ever seen this movie from childhood same for me. It's funny though when i watch it now and think man i was so wrapped up in this as a kid and thinking about all the sfx of LOTR and stuff, and yet this is still a great watch, for those young and old hmm and i don't think i fit either of these yet "YET" being the operative word. He he!

I love how this comes up in almost every scary childrens movie list. I remember watching this as a kid, and loveing it, but I remember how my little brother could never watch it with me. Great movie!!

really weird to watch now im an adult but it has some eerie moments. the end scene with the vultures is still a little frightning. 4/5

A classic fantasy film with a strong storyline and some great characters,a must see movie for all the family,8/10.
